Roles & Permissions
Roles control what a user can do in the GPCN™ portal. When you assign a role to a user, you're granting them a defined set of capabilities. Every user must have at least one role.
Available Roles
GPCN™ includes three roles for customer organizations:
| Role | Best for |
|---|---|
| Tenant Administrator | Team leads or IT administrators who need full control over infrastructure and user management |
| Tenant Power User | Engineers or operators who manage infrastructure day-to-day but don't need to administer users or organization settings |
| Tenant User | Team members who need visibility into resources without the ability to make changes |

Assigning Roles
Roles are assigned when inviting a user or updated from a user's detail page at any time. You can only assign roles at or below your own level — a Tenant Power User cannot grant Tenant Administrator access.
